The Last Goodbye

Before I left for Washington I had the privilege to get together with Kristin and Tiffany one last time to say goodbye.  I was so glad we got together.  I had not seen Tiff for years and I rarely get to see Kris so it was so fun to get together and have a girl's night.  Kristin and I first went to dinner at Blue Lemon Bistro.  It was very yummy.  We went there before and really liked it so we decided to go again.  I always love getting their chicken alfredo.  They also have a selection of treats, and anyone who knows me knows I love treats.  It's so hard to resist, but I was able to that night.  Can I just recommend the black and white cookies though?  Mmmmm so good!  We sat and talked for awhile then decided to go back to Kristin's cute house and hang out there for awhile.  That's when Tiffers met up with us and we all were able to catch up on each other's lives.  It's always fun when we all get together.  It reminded me of when we were in high school.  So of course we had to take some pictures before the night was over.

It was such a fun night and I'm glad I got to say goodbye before I left.  I have the best friends, I'm so lucky to have great friends and good people in my life!  Can't wait until the next time we are able to get together!

Chelsey's Bridal Shower

My sister is getting married!  I am so happy for her!  I was kind of sad because I would be gone for the last two weeks before her wedding.  I wanted to make sure all the planning and stuff was done before I left to Washington because I wanted to be part of it all.  I didn't want to miss anything including all the showers so we scheduled them all before I left!  We did the family shower the day before I left and it turned out so cute! I made a banner that turned out super cute if I may say so myself, I also made pom poms out of tulle for some of the decorations.  The favors I thought were adorable.  My Aunty made carmel corn puffs with drizzled white chocolate that was so yummy and it was topped off with a cute little tag from Etsy.  All the food was delicious.  We had lasagna roll-ups that were the perfect proportion and looked so cute, we had homemade breadsticks (made by my mom) that were so soft,  we had an olive garden type of green salad, and italian sodas!  After everyone ate we played a couple games and then opened gifts.  The theme was "firsts" so Chelsey got a lot of fun firsts, some of which included first trip to the grocery store, first power outage, first road trip, first camping trip, first night, etc.  So here are some pictures of the night.  (Beware, lots of pictures)

The food was delicious...

The shower was such a fun night, with good food, people, and games.  I'm glad we were able to schedule the shower before I left.  We always love getting together with family and it's always a good time!  Congratulations to Chelsey and thanks to everyone for coming and supporting her!  :)

Hello, Goodbye, Hello!

Hello to the blogging world!  I finally found a reason to start a blog.  Seeing as how my life previously was so boring, I didn't think it was necessary to have one.  However, since I am going about some new changes and adventures in my life, I decided it was time!  And thanks to my bestest friend for helping me get started and help me design my cute blog.  Thanks Kristin!  :) With that being said...

Goodbye, to my home of 24 years...

It was actually really kinda sad to leave :(.  For the longest time I was so excited to get out of Utah since I felt like I had come to a dead end with school and work in Utah.  However, when the time actually came to leave, I found my self getting a little emotional.  I am actually going to miss good ol' Utah!  But...I am ready for a change and am so excited at the same time soooo....

Hello, to my new home for the next two months...SEATTLE, WASHINGTON!

Well, Kenmore, Washington to be exact.  My frousin (friend/cousin) Jordan Panee and his wife Amanda recently moved to Kenmore for Jordan to attend school at Bastyr University.  Amanda will be having a baby well, any day now.  So with all the craziness of the new move, the starting of school, and a new baby, they decided to bring in some help.  That's where I come in!  Nanny 911 to the rescue!  Haha just kidding their kids so do not need a nanny.  They're pretty much the best, well behaved kids ever.  I am going to be helping them for the next two months and I am so excited!  I am ready to be at their beckon call!  They have two sweet sweet boys, Malakai and Eli.  Honestly, they are the most considerate, well mannered, super cute boys.  Also, as I mentioned earlier Amanda will be having a new baby.  More specifically a BABY GIRL!  How fun!  This is why I am so excited, it's like having kids without having kids.  Not to mention, how fun is it to be in a new place, seeing new things?  I also have family in the city next to Kenmore so I get to see them a lot more which is always fun!  I love getting to visit family.

Seattle I swear is the home of all health nuts and active people.  There are trails everywhere and people are always running, walking, or riding bikes.  So maybe while I'm here I'll learn to like running and enjoy all the beautiful scenery and trails.
